Knitting and crochet are passions for us at knitshop.co.uk and we love the fact we get to share them with our customers, offer crafting advice and see the results of your amazing creations. We’re hoping Yarn Shop Day on Saturday 3 May will be the perfect excuse to meet some of you and to have a nose at what you’re knitting, crocheting or felting.

Yarn Shop Day is a celebration of yarn shops up and down the land. It takes place on Saturday 3 May and is the brainchild of Let’s Knit and Let’s Get Crafting magazines. Let’s Get Crafting editor Ella Johnston describes local yarn shops as “a truly valuable resource for knitters and crocheters”. As part of this nationwide celebration of local yarn shops we’ll be holding a Drop In and Knit event at our Boutique Outlet at Lee Green, Lewisham 10am to 3pm and we’d love you to join us.
