We’ve used Mustard Yellow Sock Yarn in our example, but this 80% wool, 20% ramie yarn comes in a deep Bordeaux Red, vibrant Green and a choice of blues too.

Snug Boot Cuffs are knitted in the round on either 3mm double-pointed or 3mm circular needles using an easy-to-remember combination of knits and purls. There’s no shaping involved, so this is a great first project if you’re new to knitting in the round. You’ll also find it useful to place a stitch marker at the start of each round.
